Today, Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, is the release date for my last book, Manhattan Sweetheart. It’s been a long time coming, and I hope many of you pick it up and enjoy the read.
Manhattan Sweetheart tells the tale of Bash Hart, a NYC newbie who finds himself smitten with the popular and beautiful Persephone Love. Bash is determined to make Persephone his lady — even after he finds out her earth-shattering secret.
This short novel, published by JFXXXVI Books, has a myriad of influences: Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Jean-Luc Godard, Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin’s take on The Great Gatsby, Candace Bushnell, From Dusk Till Dawn, and even Mac and Me — no kidding!
Now, Manhattan Sweetheart isn’t “new.” It actually came out in hardcover and digitally last year, but I was dealing with some personal issues and could not devote any real time to promoting it. And while there will be no massive push for this new volume, I still want you, my amazing readers, to check it out.
The paperback version features a brand new cover, illustrated by the very talented Anastasiya Yazykova, who also illustrated the previous edition’s cover. I love Anastasiya’s work, and I am especially grateful for the way she captured the personality and essence of the story’s love interest, Persephone, while also alluding to the chic, fashionable world the characters inhabit.
It’s available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the Be Cool Books store. Get your copy today, and don’t forget to leave a review at Amazon and Goodreads! Thanks!
